About Us

Bay of Islands Adventures is a Family Owned and Operated Business established by Guy and Debbie Marshall in 2020, offering Glass Bottom Boat Trips and Jet Boat rides in the beautiful Bay of Islands.

For a more personal experience all our Boats seat a maximum of 14 passengers.

Our Skippers are locals from the Bay of Islands and have a wide range of Knowledge and are extremely passionate about the History, the Sea and Wildlife in the Bay of Islands.

Here at Bay of Islands Adventures we try our absolute best to make your Holiday in the sunny Northland one to Remember!

Our Values

We take great pride in the beautiful place we live in and the service we provide, showing our customers from near and far, the magnificent Bay of Islands.

Other Factors that are of great value to us is Sustainability and Respect of Nature and Wildlife.

Our local Skippers are extremely passionate about showcasing the History and Facts about the places visited while out on the water and will do their absolute best to make your Boat Trip exciting, informative, and most importantly memorable!

We can show the benefits and importance of marine reserves such as Otehei Bay to our valuable customers on our Glass Bottom Boat Trips, when viewing the fish and Sealife.

With sustainability in mind, we partnered with Yamaha NZ using their most suited and environmentally friendly engines.

All our boats are lifted out of the water onto “air berth’s” every night and when not in use.

This helps keep the chemicals we need to use to a minimum, without compromising the upkeep of our boats.

Using re-usable resources is another important value to us and we try our best to do so, wherever we can to minimise waste.

We use locally sourced resources and apparel where possible.

All rubbish left behind on the Boats (which is a bare minimum) is appropriately recycled where possible.

To play our part in off-setting carbon, we have completed a native tree planting project at our property in the Historic Waimate North.

We are also very grateful that some of our Staff and their Children were able to take part in a native tree planting project – planting Pohutukawa and Kauri Trees, in a new local Kauri Sanctuary through the Seelo Program.

Here at Bay of Islands Adventures we have our Customers best interest at heart, while doing the best we can to look after our beautiful Aotearoa for the future ahead.
